Gomez Braham started his culinary adventure the same time he took his first steps. Growing up with the whirring of a Kenwood mixer as a soundtrack to his early years, his love for food was born and set in motion a journey that would take him around the world. Working in acclaimed Sydney restaurants Banc, Quay and 3 Clicks West rounded his training as a young chef, however like many young passionate chefs the lure to experience London was calling. There, he honed the art of fine dining as sous chef to internationally lauded, Michelin starred, Tom Aikens.
It was his time spent in the south of France that cemented Gomez’s passion for fine produce coupled with simple cooking techniques, allowing for the flavours to take centre stage. This is an ethos that he still abides by today – seasonal produce driven cookery where simplicity is the key ingredient.
After spending over two decades in a variety of hospitality roles that would include opening restaurants, working on yachts and in private residences, the concept of The Executive Chef was born. Combining a love for all things hospitality, the notion of a personalised culinary concierge service was dreamt up – one where a passion for quality food and entertaining could be transported from the restaurant setting and into your home.
